Welcome to our website.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Amherst Open Bible Baptist Church. I have had the privilege to Pastor this Church since 2000. If you were to ask me, “what makes this church different?” My answer would be friendliness and a fervent love of the truth and faithfulness. Friendliness is a trademark of our church. You may visit a stranger but you will leave a friend. Our people have a fervent love for the truth of God’s word. The Bible and it’s message still matters here. The people are faithful. The majority of our church family attend every service. We also have new families (for which we are thankful) but many of our people have been with the church from the beginning (1974). These are just a few of the reasons this church is different. We are by no means perfect. I would be the first to admit that, but we are different. The person of Jesus Christ has changed our lives and it shows! Don’t just take my word for it come and see for yourself.
