King's Kids
King's Kids is held at the Amherst Open Bible Church. It kicks off at 7pm and ends at 8:30pm. If you are in need of transportation to or from our King's Kids, please let us know. We have volunteers from our church who drive the kids to and from this bi-weekly event.
At King's Kids, the children are taught a Bible lesson with Pastor Grooms and learn how to memorize a verse. We believe it is vital for our kids to grow up knowing, learning and believing the Bible truths. Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
The second part of King's Kids is game time! The kids play a game or have an activity in which they earn "Bible Bucks". They can in turn use their Bible Bucks to purchase items from our bible buck's store. Items in the store include toys, candy, books ect...We also have snack time for the kids at the very end. If your child is allergic to anything please let us know before hand. Take a look at our photo album for pictures from King's kids!
Your child will be required to bring an information sheet home the first time he/she attends to be filled out by the parent or guardian. This is to inform us of a contact phone number, allergies or any medical conditions the child may have.
