The Lord's name is a name above every other. Ps.111:9 "...Holy and reverend is His name." What is so special about His name? It is His name that reveals to us His character, His ability and His heart. As an example David said, "The Lord is my Shepherd...". Now we know that a Shepherd cares for, guides, protects and tends to every need of the sheep. The Lord does the same for His people. So, what is in His name? First, Access to God John 14:3-4. His name gains entrance to the throne of grace, thus Heb. 4:14-16 invites us to come boldly! Second, We deal with the Devil in His name Acts 16:16-18. The one greater than Satan is the Lord Jesus. You better believe there is power in that name for there is power in His person! Praise God for power over and protection from the Devil in Jesus strong name! Jesus is the sweetest name I know. There is no other name like His lovely name! Amen
"And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes." Ezekiel 36:23
