God's greatness
1 - Power to create Psalm 104:2-9
1. Stretched out the Heavens (vs.2)
2. Laid the foundation (vs.5)
3. Commands the water (vs.6-9)
TO CREATE SUCH THINGS, HE MUST BE GREAT!
2 - Providential Plan Psalm 104:10-18
1. Water (vs.10-13)
2. Food (vs.14-15)
3. Shelter vs.16-18
TO PROVIDE FOR SO MANY EXPRESSES HIS GREATNESS!
3 - Purposes portrayed Psalm 104:19-24
1. Moon guides us through the months and seasons.
2. The sun establiches time and order (rising and setting).
BOTH REVEAL THE WISDOM OF GOD IN CREATION.
4 - Providing sustenance Psalm 104:25-31
1. All depends on him
2. Life is in His hands
5 - Power over creation Psalm 104:32
1. He does with it as He wills.
The Psalmist vs. 33-35 praises God for His greatness. If we would dwell more on the greatness of God like the Psalmist, we too would sign of His greatness. Our thoughts would be sweet as they would be of Him. The joy of the Lord would fill our soul and His praises our mouths!
When we consider Creation, we have to say with the Psalmist vs. 1 of 104 "Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty."
